Thelusia signs an Act of Binding with Amber and Rebma. Thelusia and Amber have been paired ever since. In many ways Thelusia and Amber are closer than Amber and Rebma. The contrats with Thelusia was negotiated and finalized by Princess Cymnea of Thelusia, King Carmyna's elder sister. Smitten, Oberon Marries her on the day the Act of Binding is signed.

Oberon dissolves marriage to Cymnea. Osric and Finndo are furious, taking their mother's side.

Benedict, also angry but possessed of a better understanding of the circumstances with his parent's breakup, takes off into shadow returning in 1663. He spends much of the next two thousand years in shadow, studying warfare. He is present for the 30 years of Eric & Corwin's youth, then returns to shadow. He returns in 3340 and remains in Amber till 4100 when he flees into Shadow once more after an arguments with Queen Lora. He returned after her death and spent very little time in Amber till the respective discussions and arguments of the bastardy of Amberites and the succession caused him to leave Amber till he was discovered by Corwin in Avalon during the Patternfall War.

Finndo is believed to have died while assaying the Primal Pattern. A fierce Change storm ravages Amber. Finndo fails an attempt to control it with the Jewel of Judgment. He believes he does not have sufficient attunement to the Jewel. He assays the Primal Pattern. Dworkin witnesses Finndo's destruction on the primal pattern.

Oberon returns soon after the disaster on the Pattern. He does not declare Finndo's Reign invalid but does claim that there is no break in his reign, essentially claiming Finndo as a Co-King of Amber during his absence.

Eric crowns himself King Eric I, 'for good of Amber.' Corwin imprisoned.

In the coronation ceremony Corwin was imposed on to hand the crown to Eric. Instead he places the crown on his own head and declares himself king. He is immediately beaten to the ground and the crown is handed to Eric who crowns himself. In 5207 It is with much surprise discovered that the Crown of Amber, the Jewel of Judgment, the Unicorn, Dworkin, and the pattern itself, all consider Corwin a duly crowned and anointed king of Amber, regardless of the length of his reign. While it seems inconsequential to all that Corwin was king of Amber for less than a minute, it has great importance because of the magical significance of the recognition of the powers of Amber confers. It means he has a king's imprint on the Jewel of Judgment, and can access the powers of the crown of amber, even though he no longer wears it. He is also able to take a king's imprint of the Pattern of Amber..
