AMBER : STATISTICS


Amberites begin with all 4 primary stats at Amber Rank. There are levels at -10 (Chaos) and -25 (Human) . Players can gain an extra 10 points for lowing a stat to Chaos, or 25 for lowering a stat to human. PC's are advised not to buy down their stats. If one does it represents a major weakness in the character, even a major handicap. There may be good reasons for buying down a stat, but expect people to take advantage of the flaw.

Non-Royal inhabitants of Amber City mostly have statistics which are between Chaos and Amber level. Amber Castle guards, and Amber troops will at least have Strength and Warfare at the Amber level. A many inhabitants of the city will have statistics which are of over Amber level; the highest are roughly 10-15. Amber sorcerers of non-royal blood will have psyche up to 15. This means some soldiers with be as tough as Amberites, and some sorcerers will have better psyche, but they do nothave the unlimited potential of Amberites.

Amberites begin with great advantages but if they squander them it is their own fault.

Warfare


In combat Warfare primarily determines how successful one will be. However, someone with slightly inferior Warfare will be more effective than the higher Warfare person if they have superior Strength to them. After Strength, Endurance determines the outcome of physical combat, by determining who will tire first.
