He was the youngest son of a bombastic clan and each of his living brothers thought they were better suited to sit the throne. 10 years after the horn touched his chest he had convinced even Bleys that any ambitions to replace him where folly.

House Feldane

This ancient house received its ennoblement under Cymnea. One does not need to be of the blood to be powerful.

Shannon Feldane is known to beat Benedict at Chess, Go, and Rasir, about 40% of the time.

Wyndham Feldane, in his office as Amber's Chief of Police has arrested and physically detained Bleys, Caine, Gerard, Martin, Flora and Random, at one time or another. As Chief of Police under Oberon, Eric, and Random he has staunchly upheld the laws of amber even when it meant political suicide. Once Oberon had to back down when he attempted to pardon Gerard for wholesale drunken mayhem because Wyndham pointed out the details of law.

Cordelia Feldane, born after Patternfall, has attended Royal Balls on the arm of many a royal. She is known to have been romantically involved with Caine, Gerard, Jullian, and Llewella. Bleys once pitched her out a 3-story window for reasons that were never made public.

William Feldane, a Baron of the Court and Captain of the Amber Royal Guard, defeated Agalt Hendrake, a known Weapon-Master, at Patternfall.

Lucia Feldane, wife of Shannon Feldane for 200 years, is a graduate of Fantalin and a known Broken Pattern adept. She was once Ambassador to Rebma, where she meta young Vielle. Vielle became a close personal friend long before Random was forced to marry her. Thus she is one of the only people in Amber Vielle trusts not to be merely seeking advancement by befriending her.
